Bounty Moles are large mole-like animals found frequently in the more populated areas of Marshroom Kingdom. They can grow to about the size of a house cat, and have light brown fur, a long snout with a shiny black nose, and long forepaws tipped with thick claws. Their fur, which is short and coarse, bears one or two light green striping patterns that resemble a "$" symbol.

Using their highly durable claws, they are known to dig through even the toughest stone, sometimes surfacing in the middle of busy roads.

The Bounty Mole's namesake comes from its uncanny ability to steal the money of unwitting passersby. They are attracted to shiny golden objects and use a type of Space Magic to spirit away the coins from their victim's pockets with only a swipe of their claws. If you get scratched by a passing Bounty Mole, double-check your wallet.

A Bounty Mole's coin collection is often used in mating displays, where the males with the biggest stashes earn the attention of the females. Some individuals have been seen attempting to purchase goods from kingdom residents, but only as mimicry, not a sign of deeper intelligence.

Bounty Moles are sometimes kept as livestock and butchered; their meat and innards are lean and highly nutritious.
