Overview
Gust
Gusts are creatures that do not originate from this world. They are one of the Fashoull, the faceless monstrosities created to serve Merik'aelum and the rest of the Shoull.
Gusts are made of multiple intertwined tentacles. Like most other Fashoull they have little to no sentience, relying on either the Ma'shoull or Shoull to command them
Gusts are creatures that do not originate from this world. They are one of the Fashoull, the faceless monstrosities created to serve Merik'aelum and the rest of the Shoull.
Looks
Gusts come in a series of colors, they can adapt to meet their surroundings, meaning they can some in snow white, desert yellow, or forest green.
Gusts are a quadrupedal creature, using four extrusions (Usually made of 2 or more tentacles each) to move. Despite their size they move deceptively fast, being able to dart forward and tear apart their prey.
While the size of a gust varies, most are around 9 feet long and come up to the average mans shoulders while on all fours.
When standing on their back two legs, Gusts can be up to 14 or 15 feet tall
The average Gust weighs in at about 743 Irons (1 Iron being about the equilivant to 2.13 Lbs)
The most notable feature of a Gust is the vine tentacles that make up their entire body, while these tentacles look like they are stuck in the Gusts body. A Gust has complete control over every tentacle that makes up their body.
Another Feature is the mask like face that they have. A Gusts mouth is made of three large pinchers that can be used to secure their prey in place while they feast. While Gusts do have eyes, their eyesight is quite poor; resulting in them using scent and hearing as the main senses.
The eyes on a Gust are one of the only useless features they have. Their sight is at the best of times weak, and at the worst of times completely absent. Researchers often debate whether their eyes prove that Gusts are the results of magic rather than evolution.
Gusts are made almost entirely of tentacles, with a face made of a bone-like material.
Traits
Gusts by nature are highly violent and aggressive, and the only reason they don't attack their masters is fear of the Shoulls power
Gusts rely on their tentacles to attack prey, using their fast movements to tear into their prey
The ends of a Gusts tentacles are barbed with a unknown material, these ends are used to stop swords and defend the Gust
While the speed of a Gust has never been measured, it has been theorized to be well over what your average (or even trained) men can run
Gusts have many strengths, they were created and breed for slaughter by the Shoull, and as such they are able to take on multiple soldiers at once.
While Gusts are able to take on multiple soldiers at once, If pushed to far or faced with many highly trained soldiers, they will perish.
Gusts make a soft clicking noise while stalking their prey, but once their begin their attack the noise changes to a high pitched scream. Some say it is the screams of all the Gust has killed.
Throughout all of history, Humans (Nor any other recorded race) have not been able to successfully hunt a Gust, with most attempts ending in entire bands being slain.
Scent and hearing are a Gust's strongest senses.
A Gust's weakest sense is its sight. While there are myths that if you stand still, you will not be hunted; this however is a lie, a Gust will still be able to smell you if not see you.
Habitat
Gusts can adapt to live in any climate, but they thrive best where ever there is lots of food for them to eat
Reproduction
No one knows how Gusts mate, some believe they don’t mate at all, and instead are able to preform minor telling feats to turn their prey carcasses into new Gusts
