Troodontid Theropod Dinosaur

Zetoraptors come in mostly greens, browns, reds, oranges, and blacks.

Zetoraptor is a robust troodontid that has very dense feathers. It is more gracile than Dromaeosaurs of comparable sizes. It has a thin head with very serrated teeth and a long, thin tail.

Zetoraptors adult size maxes out at about 19 feet long and 6 feet tall when in a neutral position. They usually weigh about 500 to 1900 pounds.

After courtship and mating, the female Zetoraptor finds a suitable host for her eggs. She usually chooses a healthy individual of any terrestrial animal between 60-1500 lbs (usually mammals, due to their soft underbelly skin) that she can easily pin down. She bites and injects the host with a potent venom that can quickly knock out small creatures. Then, she opens up the abdomen and lays her clutch of 3 eggs inside. She chemically cauterizes the wound with a specialized acid and leaves the animal to wake up and go back to it's normal activities. She then stalks the animal for the next 3 months. The hatchlings hatch from the eggs inside the animal and chew their way out of the unfortunate host. The mother approaches her hatchlings and they both feed on the dying host making it live the few minutes it has left in agony, as it gets eaten from the inside out.
