Each member of the six is allowed to pass laws with the approval of at least 3 of the other members.

The power comes from their heritage, their families united and protected the people, the people view them as protectors, and bestowed their power to them.

Each of the 6 is granted equal power, and all decisions must be made by a majority rule. This causes some in fighting between the six families. This fights are normally resolved with mock sea battles. These battles have led to the rise of Ship on Ship combat games that now the populace enjoys.

The people approve of the six as a whole, as most decrees do not infringe on the individual freedoms of its people. Individually however the sentiment fluctuates.

They maintain a uneasy alliance with bordering nations of Apayo. Being pirates, they often raid ships with little care for nationalities. Other nations have begun to take notice of their activities, and minor ocean skirmishes have began to take place.

A civilian's life can be hard, or leisurely.

The six control 1 Airship, known as the "Sky King". They use this as a flagship when moving for battle.

The military is made up of various pirate fleets, forming what is called "The Crimson Tide".

There is no standing military force. What they have are volunteers, that get called together in a time of war. Each person acts as an independent mercenary striking deals of service with The Six.
