A magical artifact that contains the power of the Omega Star. The planet's core regularly supplies the Wand with some of its potent energy cocktail, and Star Ghosts are able to use this power to accomplish many magical tasks, from smiting foes to healing wounds to lighting large rooms.

The Wand is about three feet long and has many multicolored stripes along its handle. At the top is a star-shaped crystal, which glows in all the colors of the rainbow. It is stored in the Omega Star Wand Chamber.

Cultural Significance

The Original Seven created the Star Wand in order to better control the Omega Star's power, and regularly wield it against threats. Many Star Ghosts see it as a source of hope and great pride. The Original Seven allow any star to come borrow some of the Wand's power for personal use, as long as they do not abuse it, and return the energy when it is no longer needed.

There are many foes who wish to steal the Wand's power for themselves, most notably the tyrant king Mowser.
