Amulet

The Amulet of Chaos is a unique, ancient magical item. Where most of today's magic items are limited to one or three specific magics, the Amulet is only magically limited by the imagination of its wearer.

The pendant, chain and all components are made of pure 304 Stainless steel. Stainless steel is non-tarnishing, non-allergenic, shiny, strong and durable. All three have been been magically modified and augmented to both hide it's magical signature, and repel any magic that might be thrown at it.

The Amulet of Chaos is only magically limited by the imagination of its wearer. And unlike the magical items of today, the Amulet of Chaos cannot simply be recharged by a mage or even a group of mages. Instead, it's power source requires something... Specific. Magic Dust.

In order to power the Amulet, Luvia keeps with her a mage and a phoenix at all times. When it comes time to renew the power source, Luvia will cut the mage and collect the blood. From the phoenix, she takes a handful of feathers and crushes them into a power. Then she combines the power with the blood; the feathers activate the magic in the mage blood and make it more potent. This mixture is called magic dust.

However, the creation of magic dust sometimes requires more blood than one mage can produce. This means that any of Luvia's pets, or even some of Akasha's reine, will have to supply the rest if her traveling blood source is... Inefficient.

Lillian created the Amulet of Chaos to allow Luvia to be able to reanimate things as she could, but didn't want to put any limitations on her daughter's creativity.
