Bed & Breakfast, restaurant, and hot springs

Snow Haven's own Bed & Breakfast! Pinewood Inn boasts beautiful bedroom suites, all with own private attached bathrooms, as well as a luxurious dining room and private, guest-only access to hot springs in the Inn's backyard.

The Statute is wholly in effect across the whole property. There are no areas dedicated supernat-only.

The Pinewood Inn is a historic bed and breakfast in Snow Haven, having been in continuous operation since at least the 1920s.

The main building is in three wings: the center wing is the lobby for Inn guests and the dining and kitchen area, with an elegant parlor and great room, a small library, and access to the Inn's back gardens and hot springs. The dining area is an informal restaurant - primarily for guests, but others in town can come eat at the Inn when food is being served for a buffet fee.

The right wing is the guest rooms, split into two floors with 8 rooms per floor, with king, queen, and multiple-bed options. Pets are allowed in the downstairs rooms. The rooms aren't themed, sticking with an elegant, older rustic cabin feel for every room to allow for maximum comfort.

The left wing is the employee area - home to all the pieces that keep the Inn moving, such as laundry and maintenance, and also contains rooms specifically for employees who live on the property. With the snows and the travel distance, some employees prefer to stay on site for the season than travel back and forth. There are only a few who live on site full-time.

The Inn hosts a lovely garden during the Thaw months in the backyard as well as open-air seating for dining, and has private, guest-only hot springs that are open to anyone staying. There are even a few secret grottos tucked deep into the Inn's backyard.

The Inn has gone through many owners since it first opened its door - from passing through family hands to being owned by management companies to having co-owners. The same couple owned the B&B throughout Arily's time there - they liked her family, and they took pity on her and gave her a room and a job when she arrived in town begging for a job. They were old at this point, watched her grow, and took her in when she had no one left.

When they wanted to retire, they offered the Inn to her, first - and she took it, for the first time using the funds left to her by her late parents. But she felt she was still too young to have full ownership of a place like this, and not responsible enough - so instead a shell company was created to purchase the Inn in her stead, and that company hired a General Manager to run the place. It allows Arily to remain in her role as hostess without anyone being the wiser that she actually owns the Inn.

So the Pinewood Inn is a local B&B Arily used to stay at all the time when her family came into Snow Haven for vacation. Now that her parents are dead and with nowhere else to go, she returned to Snow Haven and the Pinewood Inn and now lives and works there as a hostess and front desk clerk. She recently purchased the Inn from the prior owners, but has done so in a way where no one knows she did it and she is NOT the boss - the general manager is. So I think it would be fun to have Arily's boss around!

The details of the character are completely open to the player. You can go any way you want with it... however, this person (or people) is going to be the one around Arily the most, so I would love to work out their relationship and how the boss might handle the death of her parents and the grieving process, whether they knew them or not. I'm open for all avenues of exploration and all plots we might come up with for the boss and the employee.
