A dangerous zone that receives no sunlight at all. Though the only light comes from occasional bio- or magi-luminescent plants and animals, some creatures still thrive, drawing their sustenance from non-light sources and using senses other than sight to navigate and hunt. The faint magic given off by the native Somnans can cause energy-fueled plants to grow around their settlements, forming rings of thick foliage over time, but less inhabited areas are far more barren. Exans are more likely to adventure here than in the far more deadly Light Zone, but the somnans are not to be trifled with either.
