A type of Elemental Energy sometimes called the element of nothingness. Falls under Old Magic. Gives off absolutely no light when pure, appearing solid black.

Void energy is only found naturally in the Void Zone, the space between Realms, and is extremely dangerous. It absorbs all energy it comes into contact with, regardless of elemental affinity. Once it has absorbed something, it begins to sparkle, taking on an appearance similar to a starry night sky. When released into the air, Void energy hangs in a cloud and is especially prone to dissipation if left unchecked. Unless pure, it is frigid to the touch, enough to damage the skin with prolonged contact. It will clump together more thickly and rise in temperature if it has absorbed anything.

Void cannot have a corresponding energy core in the soul. It can be used in spells after being stored in a physical object, but the process of bringing it into the body's Energy Channels for direction will cause it to absorb the Life Force flowing through the same area. This makes Void energy perilous to wield; if it is allowed to reach the Soul, it will inevitably lead to the caster's demise.
