The first inhabitants arrived 6,000 years ago

Craphis was a flat planet teeming with life when the first settlers arrived 6,000 years ago. These colonists came from another planet, looking to turn Craphis into their new home. There was a problem upon landing, and the ship crashed into the ocean, and left the colonists to swim 2 miles to the shoreline. This event made the colonists have to create their own primitive tools and structures, as all of their supplies were miles bellow the ocean. Eventually, people began to advance in technology and started to form distinct factions. One of these nations toppled the rest with their superior technology and was known from that moment on as The Kingdom Of Craphis. They turned Craphis into a huge city with no regard for the native flora and fauna living there. The planet is a shell of it's former ecological self. all of the organisms had to adapt to the new cities that dominate the planet or perish, leaving only the most resilient organisms to live amongst the citizens of Craphis. Only 5 areas on the entire planet are untouched by Craphishian expansion.
