The period in Zetan history, most commonly associated with Terrata, Ludo, and Marshroom Kingdom, that came before New Magic was widespread. It still existed, but the Soul Cores of wielders were much smaller, and the New elements were largely considered mere parlor tricks.

Society was simpler in general, lacking any sort of Magitech or similar niceties. Families generally provided for themselves alone.

The exact end of the Old Age is not widely agreed on, but estimates place it roughly 30 to 50 years ago. The trigger most people have come to understand is the generosity of The Creator -- legends say she granted humans New Magic to advance their society -- but in truth, it was the Aida Spacetime Incident sending the Brigade Relic and its magic-granting powers to the past, where it would seep even between Realms.
