The Riftmaster's Gift crashes to Earth, creating a crater

Gabriel comes across a strange crater while taking a farther walk than usual and goes down into it out of curiosity, finding the Gift at the bottom

Adam and James find the crater with the Gift and Gabriel at the bottom
Curious about the strange substance and its magical properties, they create an organization called Enigmatico dedicated to researching it
They return Gabriel to his home as they relocate the Gift to their new lab, which seemingly appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the nearby desert

The Smyth family moves into [neighborhood] for it's advanced hospital, as Susan Smyth's condition was getting worse
She has to be taken to said hospital less than a week later
