The Walking of the Flags
Annual religious holiday
-The Walking (colloquial)
-The Stretch of Worthy Torment (by priests)
Observance
Once a year, at the height of summer (days are longest, and Threads least common)
Soleád , though pilgrims flood in to watch and participate
The Templars of the Sun, though many come from all over to spectate and "torment" the Walkers from the sidelines
Celebrations
On top of being a way for groups to re-avow themselves to the Sun, it also acts as a "balance" of the sun's power, seeing as the sect is meant to be more [subserviant]. A "cleansing" through trial, of sorts

It is the most significant holiday for the Sun, and one of the several major events for Reigaste altogether
Unsurprisingly, several bloodbaths and political stunts have happened during the Walking, as it is a very public holiday (not including the Inciting Event)
