It is made up of 3 main islands, under the rule of the Ironloch Empire, the Stonebarrow Kingdom, and the Jandell Democracy
History
It is in one of the parellel universes. It's past is shrouded in mystery, but one big factor as the Great War between The Twisted Ones and the people of Jandell, Lumina, and Ironloch. The Twisteds were banished to Rocknesse, nad the worlds have lived in "Peace'" ever since.
Rules
there are 4 main types of magic. Luminescence, essentially light magic, Necromancy, essentially dark magic, Twisted magic, which is forbidden magic, and Elementalism, which is nature magic.
screw physics. The only thing that is impossible in Merenine is taking on two forms of magic once.
Its pretty primitive, like renaissance-esque, but they make up for that by using their magic to advance in technology.
Notes
Lumina and Iron Loch are "Allies" A.K.A enemies that have made a tense agreement. The Ironloch Empire and Stonebarrow Kingdom are the main powerhouses, while Rockiness is kept heavily contained and completely shut out for any political discussions. The Jandell Archipelago does have a democracy, but they don't have much say in major decision.
