The universe in which there is the existence of spirit like creatures, one of which invades and influences the mind of a teenage girl, Maysie. Maysie is convinced she is going crazy, and turns to her friends for help. But as her powers manifest and grow and her questions become answered by the spirit creature, she begins to rely on the spirit creature instead and starts to turn down a much darker path.
