Overview
Meladina
The world of Meladina (Mel-ah-dee-na) is split into three realms: The Mel-A - the mortal realm, the Infer-A - the demon realm, and the Aeter-A - the paradise realm. Meladina is ancient elvish for "Our Place and Beyond." Mel-A is made up of 3 continents, on which are 5 large nations: The Kingdom of Akkadia, The United Principalities of Giden, The Kyorueon Federation, The Sundyallee Empire, and The Kingdom of Calypso. Outside or even within the borders of these 5 large nations smaller nations can be found. All mortal races live here (Elves and all their variations, Dwarves, Humans, Orcfolk, Demi-Humans, Fairies). Infer-A is divided into 7 demon courts named after the Seven Deadly Sins (pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth), each court having a head clan as well as a dozen subservient clans which are related in some way. Every 10 years a Head Justice is picked from the roster of 7 justices that make up the ruling Court of Infer-A; these justices are the head of each head clan and by extension the head of that court. Aeter-A is the realm where the God-King Maethrillian lives along with his kinfolk/creations the angels. The only form of government here is the word of Maethrillian.

Smartphones are magical spells and internet access is common (the internet is called the Lattice)
Magic has been integrated into many technologies.
Cars are a thing but are mostly used by the military and other armed forces. Most people travel by boat, rail, or airship.
Gunpowder weapons don't exist. Bladed weaponry, magic, and conduit weaponry are the weapons of war.
Follows the major laws of physics of our world, except with a twist on the law of conservation of mass and energy: one's magical energy can be used to create objects by turning said mana into physical form.
A sapient being's capability to use magic is determined by its mental acuity and willpower.
