Earth is a place filled with Life.

No one truly knows how Earth came into being. Only that it became. Life began forming on Earth. Life that didn't exist on any other planet. Earth became the home to so many living things, and luckily, Earth had the resources. Perhaps this is why Life chose this planet. Unfortunately, not all Life is good, and a certain dark mage chose to ruin the short period of time when Life was good. Earth had many secrets, magic being one. When it was unlocked, it was used for good, to help others. But then a dark mage became too power hungry and turned the tables, plaguing Earth with a new breed of Life: Monsters.

Almost everything that applies to us applies to Earth. Only a few exceptions...

Magic can flip any Law, except that of Life or Death. Magic can NOT bring back the dead. So don't try. It was once thought that Magic could only be used for Life and healing, but someone discovered that Death could be wrought using Magic. You can kill with Magic. To be able to use Magic, you need Spells or Enchantments or Incantations or anything you can think of. Magic is creative. Imagination is key. If you have a strong will and mind, you can probably unlock Magic. Don't get me wrong, Magic isn't easy, it takes LOTS of practice to cast Magic. But you get stronger as you go.

Wands. Staffs. Some items increase your Magic, like a crutch. Some mages, witches and wizards only use items to cast Magic. It's easier, but you yourself don't learn. If someone destroys your Wand or Staff or etc, you're screwed.

Potions. Yes, potions. They can be used for anything. Magic in the form of a drink. Sometimes not tasty, potions can be used for anything your Magic can do. You do need ingredients and Magic to make them. A simple chef can not just whip up a potion, but a Witch who doubles as a chef can.

There are Non-Magical people. These people are easily fooled. But this does not make them stupid. They are also beings of power. They can be very intelligent.
