After North Korean Peace in February 2022 talks failed. North Korea with their allies of the Red dragon alliance proclaimed war on NATO. Red Dragon using espionage caused a war in south America specifically between Venezuela and Brazil who at time already had bad relations. Due to Russia finding out about this they proclaimed war on Red dragon making CSTO join the war against 2 Enemies. 8 months of fighting ended on October 24th when the the world was met with Nuclear fire. Humanity barely survived the war. The few survivors came from Cryo Facilities, Green Wastelands (Areas not nuked and only had issues with the Nuclear winter and nuclear winds) slowly started rebuilding. Of course this didn't stop human nature from showing up. Worldwide new militarized factions rose. Using vehicles stored in bunkers or unaffected by the EMPs from nukes. Of course a very few factions like the NAR have been able to restart factory production.

NAR One of the first factions to form in the US after the war the NAR are one of the most technological advanced factions in the US thanks to having a list of most if not all Miltiary bunkers and cryo facilities. They even have a Fleet of ships mostly old war era though. They have president's and unbeknownst to the wasteland nukes. The president is elected by purely NAR settlements and the military forces.

Californian Kingdom: Built from the rich of California and its Govt. The CK are a Kingdom that rules most of the West coast US. They are ruled by a King or queen. They are Nuetral to the NAR due to both having similar goals. Rebuilding the US
