Overview
L.I.M.B.O
Lost
Immortals
Mutated
Beyond
Origins
lost souls who have been altered beyond recognition. They've been half-dead for so long, that they have become entirely different then what they were originally in appearance, personality, memory, and name.
Notes
-Dying in L.I.M.B.O causes the soul to go back to the 'waiting room'. If it isn't their turn to be judged, they are reborn into L.I.M.B.O, removing memories, but keeping temperament.
-There is an incentive to make/join a hero team. Heroes in teams are more likely to be picked for missions (they are proven to be able to work together), and being part of a team gives you any benefits the team itself provides. (building access, weapons, etc)
-Heroes and hero teams can become famous if they have the personality and showmanship needed. Some heroes make a good chunk of their income from merchandise and advertisements rather than doing constant missions.
-Using your powers on other people in public is illegal in most areas. Special passes are given to on duty heroes, and to people with registered healing abilities. people who have passive abilities are also exempt from these rules, but it is encouraged for them to make sure it doesn't effect anyone too much.
-Due to the unpredictability of children in L.I.M.B.O, babysitters and early teachers are considered very prestigious jobs, up there with doctors. Most baby supplies are also incredibly durable and fireproof, and the rooms parents who are expecting make are usually filled with stuff made to withstand most anything.
-Adoption is quite popular in L.I.M.B.O, as "blood lines" aren't really a thing. This is also why last names aren't a thing.
