In many ways, this universe parallels our own with a few key differences. To begin with, there is a larger focus on the conservation of our planet as the people in this universe haven't created viable space travel. They never invented space travel as they were attempting to find the source of the magic that some people possess and others do not. Research on this continues on to today but, doesn't progress very quickly as all researchers have had some sort of disabling or fatal injury that has stopped all research in the field for a period of time.

Dark fantasy

Similar to our own the origins of this world are not known absolutely but, the scientific community has taken its time in an attempt to piece together what could have happened. The leading scholars in this field say that at the beginning of time there was a singular supermassive star-like structure that burned for 100s of 1000s of Melania without a hitch but, as the star burned longer and longer and began using more and more unstable sources of energy the storms on the surface became larger and larger until the star became a superluminous supernova. As the reaction began to calm and cool gravity pulled the newly formed rocks and other debris together to form what they now know as their universe.

Similar to our society, there are many religions that are practiced. The main three are practiced are Malichism, Leviantism, and Tribianity. These three major religions have 3 separate ideas as to where and how the universe was constructed. The malicistic faith believes that a single overarching entity molded the world out of a divine clay, Leviantism believes that our world stems from the result of a battle between the natural and the magical realms and Tribianity belives that the world is only an illusion projected by our mind and therefore does not have an origin as we all experience it as it is being made for us.

The Laws of Motion

First Rule: An object will remain at rest or in a uniform state of motion unless that state is changed by an external force.

Second Rule: Force is equal to the change in momentum (mass times velocity) over time. In other words, the rate of change is directly proportional to the amount of force applied.

Third Rule: For every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The First Law of Thermodynamics demonstrates the relationship between internal energy, added heat, and work within a system.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics relates to the natural flow of heat within a closed system.

The Third Law of Thermodynamics states that it is impossible to create a thermodynamic process that is perfectly efficient.

Electrostatic Laws

Coulomb's Law The force between two point charges is directly proportional to the magnitude of each charge and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers. If the objects have the same charge, positive or negative, they will repel each other. If they have opposite charges, they will attract each other.

Gauss's Law This law states that the net flow of an electric field through a closed surface is proportional to the enclosed electric charge. Gauss proposed similar laws relating to magnetism and electromagnetism as a whole.

The research into magic had been highly stigmatized in this world. This field of research has only begun to become less taboo in the last 50 or so years so all of the laws of the magical system are addendums to the laws of physics. Many things are still unknown about the magic in this world but what is known has opened up a can of worms.

all research conducted so far has seemed to show that magic follows the same principles but, we have not been able to locate the source of the energy. When asked to perform magical force in an energetically void area the subject was unable to complete the tasks asked of them. Research on mass and magical force still needs to be conducted but, at this time we are unsure if this will be possible

Technologically the people in this universe are at a very similar level to us. This is mainly because of the taboo that has followed the practice of magical forces. Through a lot of PSA's and media representation in this universe, the stigma has begun to lift but, the older generations still have prejudice against all who practice the magical forces.

Very minimal outside inspiration at this time as I am just attempting to build a world that is interesting to me. This is a world-building project for me and nobody else. I will write any inspirations below when I have them.

The visual style of this world is in the colors of the pastel universe but, with the overgrown look and feel of the other images.
