I'm reusing some old characters i made a long time ago and giving them reworks so they fit the new current story.
But one of them is very troublesome. Se was originally intended to be a witch but i no longer find witches and sorcerers as appealing as they were 7 yrs ago.
I want to keep the fact that she can do magic, but i want to change her into something else (not an elf or smth, im thinking smth more exotic)
Any suggestions that might make her more interesting? (unusual ideas are welcome)

Not exactly battle magic, but she can play around with elements n stuff. Kinda like what alchemy can do? somewhere in that area, plus some healing magic
How about don't giver her a label. What if in your story, there are just Magic-Users. Nothing specific. That way you don't need to make categories.
