A question for British people

Do they (or did they) teach you about the Space Race during school? Since the moon landing was such a big accomplishment for America, is it just not talked about? I'm American, so this is a genuine question.

I hate super "I'm better than you, the world revolves around me" prideful Americans…… they're quite annoying

I don't think the British took part in that.

It was the Americans and the Russians, I think.

@Mindful_Bison

@DemonPrincess713 I was just joking about that part. I just figured it was a common thing that British people get a lot. I actually quite admire British history and culture (and I wish I knew more about it). What history do you learn about in school? Apart from the world wars, of course.

@Mindful_Bison

Also PUBLIC APOLOGY we Americans are in no way better than you English folks, our country is in shambles and we all hate ourselves.

it's not a thing canadians learn so id be like 90% sure the british wouldn't

@Mindful_Bison

How strange. I always thought that it would have been at least mentioned, but I guess it makes sense considering how little I know about other countries.

@Mindful_Bison I'm sorry I was kinda just projecting my emotions towards life towards you. I'm American too and I get that Americans actually hate themselves
