Personality: Well you first meet Astral, he seems like a nice, caring man. He 'does his best' to take care of humans, and he knows that it's the easiest way to get people to trust him. Once he has you in his grips, though… that's when hell begins. He reveals he doesn't really care at all about the well being of others, especially mortals, seeing them as just things to keep him entertained. He's sadistic, too, forcing them to do things or doing things himself to them that will screw them up in the head.
Background: Astral's had a lot of crazy things done to him by his creator, who in turn had treated him the same way he treats humans. It was how he was conditioned to think like this. He also abuses the other gods, with himself being the most powerful because of how many people worship the 'benevolent sun god'

(Okie!)

Astral made his way slowly through the streets. He was cloaking his appearance a bit- he didn't need people flocking to him at the moment. He looked more human, but he still had sweet smile on his face. He was looking for a new toy, his old one too broken for his liking. He'd dealt with them, having a nice new decoration in his living room. He needed someone, anyone he could use an excuse to bring back to his home. Someone try to attack him, or perhaps someone who needed a new life. He'd be able to give them one- even if it was something they'd never actually choose.

For a moment, Astral wondered if he would need to find a new hunting ground- but then, ah, the sweet, sweet feeling of desperation. Of lost hope. Astral followed his senses, to a dark alley. That didn't hinder him much, though. He could feel it, the overwhelming sense of dread he could only pin on one man. No- not biologically speaking. Perfect. He walked down the alley, his kind smile still painted on his face. He hummed a bit, walking past the man. He paused a moment, turning back.
"Are you alright, sir?" he asked, letting the concern blossom across his face.

Astral tilted his head a bit when he caught a glimpse of the man's face. He knelt down as well, letting the concern grow. Absolutely perfect.
"Are you sure..?" he asked, letting worry seep into his voice.

Astral could see he'd have to get this man to open up a bit to him before he made his offer. He held up his hands a bit to show he meant no harm.
"I'm not gonna hurt you," he said softly. "This bruises look pretty bad, though…"

"Still," Astral said softly, "it's pretty bad you got them in the first place." Astral wanted to be the one to give this man bruises, to make him scream until he couldn't anymore.
"Are you really sure everything's okay?"

Astral let out a soft breath.
"It's bad, isn't it?" He asked sadly. In reality, he was elated. He was so, so close to getting this man to fall into his trap, he could already imagine how it would feel to have his hands covering in this man's blood, his fingers tearing him apart and putting him back together.
