I’m on an iPad using chrome. Whenever I tap on either of the actions listed, it will just flash a light grey color and do nothing.

I have the same issue using Safari on my iPad. I wanted to test out the dark mode but none of the actions work.

Same issue here. I also haven’t be able to share documents with people, and sometimes its hard to delete documents too. I’m on an iPad, with safari.

Interesting. I think that's a separate issue from what's causing problems on iPad, but I'll look into it also. Chrome is what I use and test the site on, so it's odd that it's not working for you. Are you on a Windows or Mac PC?

Just to make sure, you haven't disabled Javascript or added any extensions that would be modifying Notebook.ai's layout, right?

I got this bug as well:

I tried uploading a document to the stream of my written work and it didn’t work.

Also the drop-down menu for my documents/charries/locations for sharing works the same way as the other two drop-downs. It simply doesn’t comprehend that I’m trying to touch it.

Whoops! Sharing timelines and documents aren't supposed to be enabled for the stream yet (because they do exactly that). I should have documents enabled in tonight's release though, and that share will magically turn into something useful instead of just an error message.

I think the dropdown issue is a problem with the design framework I'm using for the site, so I'm looking for a fix that – theoretically – should fix it everywhere.

for some reason i can't share anything to the stream? it always gives me the error message, regardless of what i'm sharing

@crocs-to-a-knife-fight Random question – are you trying to share a page without an attached message? Just realized that causes an error; I'm about to push up a fix to make messages optional though.

I just pushed up two separate fixes for iOS devices.

1) There should now be a fix that makes dropdown menus (like the quick actions dropdown) work properly.

2) There should now be a fix that makes dropdown selects (like linking characters, selecting which page to share, etc) work properly.

I didn't end up finding an iPad to test with so I'm basing these fixes on what should work, but I would appreciate someone double checking that sometime. :)

Also, documents should work just fine in the stream now.

now for the related bit, i wonder if it's because of firefox, or maybe damage to your screen? cause mine doesn't have any problems except for when my screen acts up

No, Firefox works fine. It might be because my screen cover is damaged, yeah, so I'll check that out
