Character chat but for the fanfiction authors! Write fanfiction? Bring your fanfic babies here and have fun basking in the chaos!

As long as you're having characters from your fics chatting (through your own custom canon) then it's all good. People can have the same characters from the same universes, but have it be established that they are from other, very similar universes kind of a thing? Anyways I just want a chance to rant about my fics through the characters so feel free to join in the conversation!

Rules and chat format:
No explicit sexual content. Mild innuendo is okay, but keep it roughly PG-13.
No bigotry! Accept the gay!
Don't be dicks about how people write their favorite characters. Everyone has different characterizations, no need to be a dick.

Format:

To narrate an action, do it something like this:

Remus: Chews his deoderant loudly

For speech, something like:

Remus: a gOLdFisH iN a COnDoM
Logan: You are intolerable.

Action and speech?

Remus: Whacks Roman over the head with his morningstar BOO!
Roman: Oof! falls over

This is an au based on fantasy. It's where Virgil and Patton are dragon shifters, Logan and Roman are brothers. Remy and Dee are gods, Emile is a fae and Remus hasn't been introduced yet.

Virgil: … Logan, I think I may have messed up the transportation spell…
Logan: Sighs Alright, should we try it again?
Virgil: I don't think so, not right now at least. I need to re write the spell.

Virgil: Immediately assumes a protective position in front of Logan. Who are you?
Logan: Places a hand on Virgil's shoulder. Calm down, I can fight.

Logan: Should we call Deceit?
Virgil: No, he might be with his partners and believe me, you do not want to interrupt date night.

Cade: Pitiful, simply pitiful. This is how I die.
Jeremy: Cade, if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing. Wait, where are we?
Cade: Not in jail anymore, otherwise, I don't know.
Michael and Rich: Panic-y breathing
Cade: My name is Cadence Peitho, this insufferable waste of matter is Jeremy Heere. Cade bows a little

(This is a Be More Chill AU. It follows the canon, but takes place while Jeremy is in college. Via Cade's choice of words, you can probably guess who they are. Everyone looks basically the same but a bit older, like in their early twenties. Cade has a flutelike, eerie kind of voice, is about 5' 4" with jaw length, messy black hair, really creepy eyes, and pale skin that never tans. They're wearing fisnet stockings under black minishorts, a black hoodie, and white shirt. No shoes, but they do have socks. The others are wearing clothing similar to the stuff they wore in the play.)

Cade: It seems we've been pulled into, uh…. somewhere else?
Jeremy: Very articulate, buddy.
Cade: THAT WAS- Jeremy, my quantum processor is impaired. I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on, as Rich might say.
Rich: Panicking more
Cade: This is either a dream, or another plane of reality.
Michael: SO ALTERNATE UNIVERSES DO EXIST!!

Logan: Pushes up his glasses and peers around, turning to Virgil. I think we should try and get out of here.
Virgil: Nods and pulls out a small book, flipping through it.

Michael: Its dark in here. Anybody have a light?
Rich: Panicked vibrating at unholy speeds

Virgil and Logan: Vanish in a flash of light and the smell of burnt marshmallows.

A new group of people appear, all looking to be in modern outfits.
Dee: What is going on?
Virgil: Don't got a clue.
Patton: pulls his sweater around him more. Its freezing in here.
Roman: Here, you can have my jacket, it's the princely thing to do.
Logan: no, it's just human decency.
Remus: UWU

Cade: How…. how did you communicate…. the makes an attempt to convey uwu, and fails
Jeremy: Does anyone have a flashlight?
Rich: calming down a little Uh, uh, m-maybe? his voice is a little stammer-y, he has a mild lisp

Cade: As stated, Cadence Peitho. This is my host, Jeremy Heere, and the other two are Michael Mell and Richard Goranski.
Jeremy: Hiii…. Don't mind the evil robot. I cashed in a favor from a friend that I really shouldn't have and now… mmn, uh, they exist nods to Cade

Dee: Im Dee, that dork is Roman, that other dork is Logan. My brother is Virgil and his boyfriend Patton, and that is the family disgrace.

Cade: He does seem disgraceful, but potentially a good meat-shield.
Jeremy: NO!!

Logan: Sighing. We don't even try to understand Remus, it's too much effort for nothing.
Virgil: He's an idiot, just like his brother.
Roman: Hey!
Remus: Yeah, Roman's a bigger idiot!

Cade: Get me some mountain dew and time.
