Put a basic description of your characters below and I'll try to find some ideas! Feel free to help other people find names also!
Character Naming
Hi!
I need a name for a 20 something man from the Great Plains area who serves in the military as a k9 handler. (I need a name for his dog too if you wanna take a swing at that haha)
He's a classic agriculture kid, grew up rural, he's pretty quiet and laid back but is secretly a comedian.
Ok I have a few suggestions: (also these are just ideas feel free to shake them up a bit/not use them at all)
- Jacob (popular name from 20yrs ago)
- Michael (also from 20yrs ago)
- Mylo (means soldier)
- Leonardo/Leo (means brave, lion)
- George (means farmer (related to rural ig))
- Kaiden (from America (where the Great Plains are i think))
- Matthew (from 20yrs ago)
- Christopher (20yrs ago)
I had a go at the dog names but you didn't specify the gender so I found a few gender neutral ones :)
- Bailey
- Scout
- Bear (if it's quite a big dog)
- Patches
Hope this helped!! (BTW u don't have to credit me or anything I source names off online :))
Wishing you fun writing and a lack of plot holes!
(A tip I use for naming is if you want some cool mystical name out a word through Google translate a few times)
Ahhh brilliant thanks!! Leo is perfect :)
Cool! Okay, here's a very basic description of one of my characters:
Gender: Female, she/her pronouns
Race: Elfin
Class: Royal, she's basically a princess
Looks: Glimmering white-silver skin, long and wavy ivory hair, often wears the silver robes of the upper class
Personality: Bold, adventurous, reckless, and loyal
Skills: She does various kinds of swordwork and martial arts
A fantasy-sounding name would be best!
