Character Quirks

What are some fun little details you've made up about your characters? Like, they have no purpose, they're just these little quirks and habits that add flavor? :)

I have plenty of these!!!

• Paisley cannot sleep without journaling her day
• Abel's favorite foods are slightly freezer burnt ice cream and celery
• Rhyda can't stand the texture of pudding
• Shea rips the sleeves off of nearly every shirt she owns
• Grace has always tried to write poetry but then she sucks at it so she hides it all under her mattress
• Felix has a large collection of godawful ties that he wears all the time
• Drew loves Jane Austen novels
• Bianca likes to pick up desert lizards and put them on her shoulder
• Jeb keeps all of the shells for the missiles/explosives he makes. He has a giant shelf of them all at his home
• Crimson keeps both of her parents' Medals of Honor with her at all times
• Cagney's favorite animal is the Poison Monarch (a mutated version of a Monarch Butterfly that occurred after Toxic Warfare in WWIII)
• Haru's an avid reader and founded a library in Evangeline Base
• Ray can make one hell of a margarita

• Lybra's favorite color is pink, but he says it's red because he thinks pink is "not a San Disu color"
• Ali is always cold, all the time. It's just in his nature.
• Maggie collects shiny things and gives them to his crewmates as a sign of affection.
• Robin's favorite animal is a dog
• Elidi used to study quantum mechanics. She refuses to speak about her years in uni.
• Ali has never seen snow
• Lybra, despite all his bravado, is a lightweight when it comes to drinking. He's also a stupid flirty drunk
• Ali dyes his hair bright colors for fun. His favorite color so far has been purple
• Robin refuses to wear her hair down.
