character roleplaying that anyone can join

Yo I am bored. If anyone would like to roleplay to pass the time, that would be wonderful.
As far as rules go:

• You can swear within reason, but i dont want anyone using slurs or offensive language even if its part of your character's personality.
• I would prefer if you use your original characters from your stories, but you can hop in with anyone as long as they are your own creation.
• Be considerate. If someone has a character who prefers they/them pronouns, please refer to them as such. Or if that roleplayer themselves prefers they/them pronouns please refer to them as such. Or if someone is roleplaying a child, refrain from being inappropriate with the child character.

I'll probably add more rules as time goes on, but for now, just hop in.
If you're worried about a setting, it's a forest. What's in the forest? Literally anything, just make it up. A whole ass Denny's can be there, but be creative.

Heyo! I’m interested in joining this, but I do have a couple questions.

Be considerate. If someone has a character who prefers they/them pronouns, please refer to them as such.

What if your character doesn’t know the other’s pronouns? Should we have them ask (or assume, if it’s in that character’s personality to be blatantly ignorant?) or do we just skip the hassle and go ahead and use the correct pronouns despite them not having been asked?

Do characters have to be human(oid), or can we use Pokémon, dragons, foxes, shadow creatures..?

Lastly, are fandom OCs allowed? Like, characters who were made for a fandom universe but are the user’s own creation. For example, a Wings of Fire OC.

My problem is if a character has their pronouns established and another character ignores them and refers to them incorrectly just for trouble.

For the second question: I would prefer humanoid ocs, but if you want to be creative, then please don't let me be a damper on your fun. This is roleplay after all.

Name: Monyi Havits

Age: 6 of his planet’s years, 6/7 years to adulthood (roughly 15 in human maturity)

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Species: Clikor

Personality: Friendly, yet insecure, Monyi is a good friend to all but himself. He’s very modest about his inventions and always strives for the best, but seldom accepts that what he already has is good enough for the job. Despite this, he’s the brightest face in a room when he’s in a good mood, and is very sweet and supportive to his friends.

He may be a little on edge in this roleplay due to having no idea where he is, what a forest is, or what species any of the people around him belong to. Also, he has severe pollen allergies that I thought I’d mention and nobody’s aware of (nor are they on his profile) because his species abandoned the forests a long time ago. I’d imagine all Clikor are allergic to it nowadays due to the unfamiliarity of it to their noses.

Monyi, like all other Clikor, has deep, coarse black fur, with scatterings of gold and amber glow-specks, which he can light up at will. Most of his Clikorian glow-specks are centered on the front part of his forelegs and on the upper front of his hind legs. Monyi often wears a pair of scientific goggles bought for him by his older brother Rino, forged from the fires of the local volcanoes.

I’d suggest reading up on the Clikor page mentioned above or his actual Notebook.ai page if you have the time, I spent a long time making his character. I hope you enjoy him as much as I do during this roleplay. :)

Species: Denizen (This is a placeholder name)

Personality: Specter is known in their friend group as a crass and bitter individual who cares deeply for their friends. They are proficient in deception and thievery, but carries a moral code that they don't completely use. They were known as the Phantom of Eryntide in their hometown and are a mysterious being with little to know desire to divulge into their history. Specter is usual more hostile to strangers, but warms up easily if they're not provoked. Otherwise, they are aloof, yet nice.
