CIRCUS DELIRIUM // CLOSED!

DISCLAIMER- The Circus Delirium deals with topics like highly controversial "freak shows." This roleplay does not claim to be a perfect or (even realistic) portrayal of how these human 'attractions' were treated, nor is it trying to make light of what happened to the affected parties.

Backstory- The Circus Delirium is first and foremost a traveling circus, yes, but it also has a number of… sideshow acts that could classify it as something more along the lines of a so-called freak show. These human attractions are from all over the world, and are trained in a number of traditional circus acts, as well as things like singing or dancing. The troupe travels across the United States, only stopping in one place for a few nights before packing up and heading back out on the road. While most of the performers are "freaks" in some way, whether it be that they have some form of physical anomaly or just extreme body modifications, regular circus performers are also welcomed with open arms at the Circus Delirium. This is set in the late 1950s/early 1960s.

Rules-

• Explicit language is welcomed with open arms! You may NOT, however, use slurs against any person or character. If you feel like you need to use them that badly, talk to the person it's directed to first.
• Gratuitous and dramatized violence is allowed, and definitely has its place. However, just like there is a time for work and play, there is a time for bloodshed and a time for everything else.
• Romance is welcomed, but stay classy please. I trust you. If you have to get raunchy, go to PMs until you're done.
• I don't expect all of your characters to look like Karen or Robert down the block, in fact, I encourage that they don't, but please at least try to keep them realistic. Ideally any mutations your character may have have been at least Googled first.
• When filling out the character templates, please, please, please check that you've filled it all out. She's detailed, but it makes it easier in the long run!

Mutation? If so, what kind?- She was experimented on and made to look almost futuristic and like a Robot. Obviously none of the additional parts are actually functional. Some of her body sort of looks like different things sewn together some of those things are mechanical.
Does their mutation cause any health issues?- One of her arms is completely missing from the elbow down. She does have a prosthetic but it's all metal and again just for looks. When she takes the arm off it looks like wires are hanging from her arm. None of this hurts her anymore. she actually can't feel anything in most parts of her body. It's just numb. She also can only see out of her left eye.
Act(s) (1-2 MAX)- I was sort of thinking she was with the clowns if there are clowns.
Personality (At least 4 traits, please)- She is very obedient and acts almost robotic. Very quiet around others especially new ones. Sometimes her old talkative self peaks through. Usually, if you bring up something like art she's ramble on about it forever. These rambles usually end with her not talking for even longer periods of time and worrying that she'll get punished or something. She is very creative but is scared to show it.
Appearance- Short and slightly overweight. Her curly brown hair always in a bun. She wears grew shirt and pants showing off all of her metal parts. She has one blue eye and one green eye. The green eye is her real eye and the only one she can see out of.
Tattoos? Piercings?- She has a barcode tattooed to her upper arm. Right above her prosthetic.

(Around 5’2” which isn’t super short for the average woman but still definitely short compared to your guy. Also I’m ready but I’ll have to disappear in like an hour)

Oleg sat on the edge of the bed in his trailer, staring blankly at the wall for a short while before standing up. "Christ.." He stepped outside, tugging at the collar of his tank top. It wasn't too early, only around 8 AM, but the bright sun outside stung his eyes as he tried to get acclimated to the light.

Ava had gotten up at 6am sharp like she did every morning. She had gotten herself ready, washing the tear streaks on her cheeks left over from her nightmare, and cleaned up her trailer. Once that was all done she sat down and waited. She just sat there squirming slightly every once in awhile but she sat there for around an hour.

He leapt down from the porch of his trailer. The tall man strolled through the carnival grounds, passing the other trailers as he went. His tail poked through a hole cut in his ratty jeans, allowing just a little more comfort. "Good morning." He stopped when he walked by Ava, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "How's your day been so far?" He had just the slightest trace of a Russian accent that came out when he spoke.

“Good morning and it’s been good how about you?” She asked looking up at Oleg with a small smile. Her hands where folded neatly in her lap as she sat on a chair right outside of her trailer. (Gtg sorry)

“I just woke up, so it's almost as good as you can get when you sleep in a wooden trailer." He laughed at his own joke, rocking on his heels. “Ava, right?”

"Yeah. I've been up for a few hours. Not really sure what to do? You're Oleg right?" She admits shifting slightly in her seat.

“The same one. The famous beast from the east is at your service.” He made a show of bowing rather grandly, winking when he stood back up. “How long are you here? Let me get your story.”

She blinked slightly shocked that he was even talking to her for this long. “I umm got here only a few days ago and I don’t really have a story,” she said her smile slightly strained.

“Ah .. Disappointing. I knew I saw you, just … too busy to say something, you know?”

Personality (At least 4 traits, please)- Mre is often anxious, this is due to the trauma of being taken from his home. He has one of those personalities where it changes with the people he's with. He tends to be shy and usually a pacifist.
Appearance- Mre has pale skin, underneath his skin, there are dark "shadows" that move beneath the skin, mostly when he's nervous. HIs eyes are bright green and contrast his skin, they are large and his pupils are the main feature of it, them taking over almost all of his iris. He is tall, almost unnaturally so, his arms are long and his hands are small and quick.

Strengths/Weaknesses- Like I said, he's very sickly.
Fears- Being kidnapped and stolen in the night.
