Rules

• You send me a link to your character of choice's page or reference image(s), I draw them! :)
• I send you a link to my character of choice's page or reference image(s), you draw them!
• BOTH drawings should be "similar" so that it isn't unfair for either of us, more on that below:
• When linking the character's reference, choose if you want it to be a bust, waist up or full body and if it's sketch, or clean+colored sketch, and lastly, if it's traditional or digital art. Remember, what you choose is what you will do as well, that's what I mean with "similar" drawings, this way there will be no cases of "You drew a fully rendered, full body piece of art for me an all I did was a rough bust sketch", I don't want this to be unfair for you!
• Only YOUR OWN characters can participate. No pre-existing movie or series fanart, buddy, this is raw uncensored agressive OC apreciation bc it phisically pains me how people have awesome characters that might never receive their own fanart bc social media algorithims messes with the reach of their universes and characters! This is supposed to be pure OC mom/dad/parent solidarity>:(
• No obligation to read the character's profile! I will read your character's profile (if you send them, ofc) because I wanna put some of their personality into the drawing, but you don't really have to read mine if you don't want to :) I understand some of y'all probably don't have a lot of time either, so no pressure.
• As long as your art skills aren't a literal stick figure, all skillsets are welcome!
• DEADLINE FOR SENDING THE DRAWINGS: 2 WEEKS (Valid for both you and me, I'll follow this as well. I extended from 1 week to 2 because now that my university is back offline, I don't have as much free time, but still-)
• NO NSFW, EVER. Mild gore, blood, scars and triggering topics are totally fine by me, but I won't draw nor want my characters drawn in any s3xual content. I know people in these forums are pretty respectful of this already, but mentioning again doesn't hurt!
• Lastly, you can participate more than once if you want to!

First of all, thank you so much! This drawing here is a bit old but basically I only changed one thing in my art style, making the lineart thicker. Although, since these drawings won't have lineart (that's why it's a colored sketch) (trust me, it takes dAYS), it's gonna be basically the same (just a bit more anatomically correct)

Thank you and yeah, I did! I just realized how little I actually draw Jack digitally, I'll try and make a better reference for him tho. Also, yeah, he has 1 lower fang that sticks out even in his human form (just an artistic decision to show he can shapeshift into an animal), as well as pointy ears (kinda elf-like, but shorter, it actually has a "sad" reason behind it and it's how dobermans are born with floppy ears (and a normal tail) and then get them cut off just to make them stand up and be pointier/look threatning. Since Jack had his ears and tail cut as well it reflects in his human form too, with pointy ears. Kinda sucks but hey, it's just a reflection of real life)

(also I really enjoy doing full body drawings for interesting posing and stuff, but I still keep my line art on so it's not as taxing as lineless stuff; and on that note if I do a clean, lined, shaded fullbody – I would totally understand if you'd rather do a half-body or something !! if that makes sense lel)

I read her page and dude, I was about to tell you how she was absurdly lightweight, like, literally Eugenia Cooney level underweight, and that it would be biologically impossible for her to be sturdy+curvy at a weight so low that she probably wouldn't even have hair out of malnutrition. Luckily tho, then I read the page that specifies about her species and OH BOy what a relief! I really like her design tho!
I made a bust because the reference was also a bust, and I also gave her a choker for her alt aesthetic :]

Also, I actually like how he's just a "normal" human, I mean, that's pretty refreshing actually! Fantasy characters and settings are just almost a norm these days (and I too have commited ans still commit this sin lol), so seeing a character who is a regular human, in our current time inside of our actual world is becoming quite hard, but it's always nice to stop and aprecciate the "nowadays". Most OCs I see are either not human, a human with powers, in a completely different world or in our world but far back in another period or straight into the future, I didn't expect what I got with Jake (in the best way possible!) Good job, Jake is a great character!

Yeah, I can see him being a surfer if he lived in California hahaha. He's a New York boi, tho. And thanks! I'm glad you think he's a good character. I personally admire people who have the guts to create universes and different races and abilities and things. I've always loved that kind of thing, but ultimately, I'm there for the character, so it just made sense for me to cut away the fluff that I got frustrated spending time on and get to the heart of the character and their personality and stuff. So part of it is laziness lol. But I do love seeing how I can push myself by making a character that's no different from us, but still interesting, yknow? Small update for @AloofFloof !

• First, I finally made a decent reference sheet for Henka, it's in his Notebook.ai gallery if you wanna use it, if not, it's ok too since I didn't change anything in his design lol
• And second, I just finished Tobias' sketch, time for coloring!
