I want to use the same image for each of the vehicles of type Spaceship, but it looks as if I need to re-upload the image on each vehicle (and so I guess use up some more bandwidth). Is there any way to re-use an already uploaded image?

No, unfortunately I think you have to re-upload each time. but if its a feature you would like to see in the future, you can hit up Big andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) (@/andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)), the sights admin

This is a great idea! There's no way currently to reuse images (or to upload your own default for all pages of a particular type), but I'm planning a rather large rewrite of how images are interacted with that'll probably include both of these options. I don't have an estimate of when it'll be done & ready, but this is something on the roadmap for the future. Thank you for the feedback!
