How do you get (and keep) a social life?

I don't understand… How… do you get a social life? Even introverts? Help…? How do you people get friends so easily? What magic do you people possess?

I don't know, I've been an extrovert my whole life and only get to talk to people outside of my family (in person) maaayyybeeee once a week

I know people with horrible anxiety and they still have friends… I don't understand…. Teach me your ways Ella… pls.

What are my ways? I don't have a social life other than Notebook and my occasional AHG meetings that I barely get to socialize in

I'm also homeschooled only for me it doesn't end, I'm stuck at home until I finally get to go to art school in a bazillion years

I was "adopted" by a freshman aged girl in church. She treats me so bad though… she's basically really self-righteous and i'm always wrong for not being sheltered and really Bible and Jesus happy.

Yup. And im a writer and you know, like all but two families are sheltered. I can't go up and be like "Hi! i write stories which blur the lines of reality and have gore and pg-13 to r rated themes! uwu" or i will get drop kicked in the holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Well…. Internet friends are a shaky thing and after my two month break…. im having a hard time trusting everyone again… especially since i came back during a lot of drama….
