Realistic killing.
What would be the best way to kill off a a computer themed opponent that can upload their conscience into another body and has great defenses. (This is in the realm of an action/ fantasy world so nothing's off the table, im having trouble figuring out the best approach)

The machine could be unplugged and basically turned off. Which would cause their conscience to be stuck in it and slowly deteriorate.
Virus that causes it to delete the conscience when loaded in.
Some person could be working at the company, be bad and deliberately get rid of the conscience
The body couldn't handle it and dies all together with the conscience.
