How would your characters SAY "I love you?"

We've all talked about their reactions if someone said it to them, but what if they had to be the ones to say it? Would they be bold? Shy? Subtle? Flirty? Emotional? Would they use those exact three words, or would they have their own way of confessing their feelings? Bonus: WHO are they confessing to?
Here are some of mine:
D'artagnan (to Kineta): Listen….Takes deep breath I…..um….chickens out ….I baked cookies for you haha
Kineta (to D'artagnan): You don't have to be perfect for anybody, Dar. For what it's worth, I think you're already perfect.
Melanie (to ???): I'm scared. Mostly of myself. I've….I've never told anybody that before.
Vali (to ???): I have nothing if I lose you, do you understand? Nothing.
Dean (to any of her crushes): stuttering and blushing furiously BRUH I'D SELL YOUR SOUL FOR LIKE ONE FRENCH FRY, GOT IT?
Luke (to Nina): You know I admire you so much, right? I really want to be like you. I don't wanna let you down.
Nina (to Luke): cute blush and a really intense stare, she's literally never done this before Luke?….I think I'm in love with you. (Cue Luke dying inside and hugging her real tight)
Mike (to ???): Hey…..you okay?
Bernon (to his eventual wife Dodger): tears up Ohmygosh you are so cool and beautiful and I'm so dorky and clingy and I just don't get how I ended up with such an amazing woman, you must think I'm so lame– (Cue Dodger rolling her eyes and letting him cry in her arms for a while)
Brandon (to ???): ….You're making a mistake, you know. With me. Pauses ….But uh, it's okay to make mistakes sometimes, it's how we learn. (Normally he's a very shallow, crabby guy who only does romance, not friendship, so these words are for someone who's gotten past his emotional walls and formed a real connection with him)
Boar-back (to ???): slight smile I'm tired of doing this alone. I think you are too.

Hazel (to ???): I don't understand, but I feel… good about myself around you. I can finally hear the song you've heard in me all this time. I… think… I think I… stops herself, because she's never confessed before. I think you're really special to me.
Lata to (???): F#ck, why can't you leave my heart alone? It hurts and feels good at the same time? Are you sure this isn't some sort of spell you're using, because if it is, I swear I'll beat your sorry a$$. All while blushing and tone sounding less threatening than her words.
Calixto (to Cameron): Honestly… I didn't think I'd ever find someone I'd like to mate with for life. Much less someone not of my own kind. That being said, I'd like you to be my one and only. If… you'd want to that is.

Flippers: near tears I-I don't deserve you guys. From what I've done to who I've hurt. I just don't know how you guys can find it in your hearts to love me. I-I just don't deserve it.

kacey: "i love you so much!" she always makes sure to tell her friends and family that she loves them.
nabila: "it might… it might be possible that i… that i like you as more than a friend." nabila NEVER says the word love, instead expressing it for her friends through physical actions. however, if she romantically likes someone she will become a tongue-tied mess.
karuko: "i like you. like, really like you. like, REALLY really like you." everyone and their mother knows that karuko has a crush on cassidy gamal so when she goes to tell her, everyone is pleased but not surprised.

Chelsea: I know you don't have a choice to love who you do, and I hope you feel that love to me..and that’s why I wanna to… ask you to go surfing with me

Pierce: Leaves a basket of their crush's favorite things at their house/dorm with a note saying "You fill my senses with love.- Pierce" Hoping that one day they'll see it and talk to them.
Ahana: Naruto runs to their crush (after 13+ months of deciding what time, day, etc) and rambles on about the homework for a bit before quickly blurting out, " Look, I kinda love you…w-which is kinda weird a-and I'm kinda hoping you didn't hear this but…"

simon: completely letting his guard down, showing his fear and emotion, allowing someone to share his struggles. his girlfriend runs her fingers through his hair, and with half-closed eyes, simon murmurs, "I love you. You know that, right?" he was so obvious about it, so yeah, she already knew.

selene: gives her boyfriend a thoughtful, put-together present for the holidays (which includes a hand-drawn sketch of him and a guitar string bracelet). at the bottom of the art piece is a little note in her loopy handwriting that reads 'I love you <3.' she watches him open it with a nervous smile and a very red face.

raj: beats up his girlfriend's assaulter. he and his girlfriend go to the bathroom, and she gently wipes the blood off his face and says, "you didn't have to do that." he shakes his head and tells her, "of course I did. I should have done it the second I found out. I love you."

Charlotte: Sews pockets into Forrest' s pants and shirt the perfect size for little seed packets for hid garden
Autumn: Just being at CD' s basketball games, even though she couldn't see them for a lot of the time, makes him very happy.
Bee: Stays up late, even if she has a ace the next day, just to help Liam with his music (yes defiantly helping and not just liking his voice or anything. Nope.)
Forrest: Ok this boy was the one who made Charlotte realize Zayn was toxic, if that isn't showing love and concern idk what is.
CD: Reading to Autumn when she can't find a book she wants in brail, the two falling asleep in her reading chair witch he calls her 'throne'
Zayn: Just fact he opens up to Rhys after not doing so for so long. He trusts her and confides in her.
Periwinkle: I have trouble writing her, but her and Luke's relationship is so cute. After everything he went through, his wife leaving him, finding it Echo wasn't even his daughter, struggling with his son having three times the normal amount of magic. Wink didn't let their past get in the way, she helped him even when he didn't want her to.
Luke: With Mara the fact that he was the first one to reach out and trust her, even if it did end on bad terms. With Wink he was cautious, not forgetting how they'd treated eachother as teenagers. But he realized that people change, and Wink did for the better, the two finaLLY realizing they love one another.
Liam: ThIs kId. He waited (mostly) not dating anyone else, KNOWING Bee wouldn't remember him. He KNEW when he went to earth that she had no memory of their stupid little kid romance, but he still LOVED HERRR. Everything this boy does for her is out of love. I have a problem with Lee/Biam

Frog (to whomever they end up with): I uh…I care about you. A whole bunch. Please accept these humble offerings of cookies I made and a playlist of songs that remind me of you!
Dick (to Juniper): You idiot! (just freaking kisses him) You're an ass and I love you.
Juniper (to Dick): You're a lot. But I do really like you. Here's something for you. (it's a whole damn portrait of the two of them that could be in a museum)
Shiloh (to Vanessa): You're gorgeous and I love you. Let's go be gay and do crimes.
