Komyar Salhei: “Huh? Oh, uh. He/him is fine..” He speaks in a confused tone. (Notable that a lot of people from his country are not very familiar with those outside of the binary, but most of them aren’t transphobic by any means; just not exposed to those people on a daily basis - though he does encounter people who do identify outside of the binary through his story. Sorry to ramble - it’s just an interesting topic that’s explored in my NaNo project for me)

Dorri Singara: “Anything’s fine! He/she/they, though most people refer to me with the first two.” She answers the question with casual friendliness. It’s genuine. “In a lot of cases, some people automatically call me ‘she’, more specifically people not familiar with my people’s culture!” He adds with some amusement. (Dorri is from Jesnen, a matriarchal country. They identify as a gender unique to Jesnen culture - Keme. Dorri is AMAB.)

”Ein” Eindra, (people in her country have no surnames; instead have ‘titles’): “..She/her,” She answers after a somewhat long delay. Eindra does not interact with many people outside of her clan.
