I have this concept which is a twist on the sacrifice bride/groom/folk trope (for context, It originates from dialovers, basically the vampires drink the heroine's blood to cause her to awaken to gain power) I thought hey the bride/groom/person never gets any power out of this, what if this was played for horror and the person afflicted with it wants to cure this

My main ideas were

• There people forced to hunt him do, which is the main conflict but I don't know how to make sense of it
  +The other MC is an extra and has to protect the protag
• There's a girl who's a friend with the protag who's assigned to kill him to stop the awaking
• The protag is a vessel for a barrier maiden
