I need middle names...

for a shy boy named Otis Hartford (something with one or 2 syllables) and a rough teenage boy named Abram Hartford. I was thinking 'James' for Otis, but it doesn't sound right together. Maybe something kinda..embarrassing for either one?

Otis Eugene Florence Hartford?

I like Eugene. I also think that two middle names especially if the whole name is two syllables each would be hard for readers to read. I would consider Peter as a middle name for Abram.
