Last name suggestions?

I have a few characters in the making, Ombre, Jocelyn, Caden, and Grayson, I would love some unique last name ideas that don't sound too made up and also aren't basic.

I really like using Greek and Roman names for that kind of thing. Look up some of those on Google and see what you get!

I don't have any off the top of my head, but consider their races when choosing their last names. Also, try not to choose any with an -in end (e.g. Jensen, Anderson, etc) as it can kind of clash with their first names (except for Ombre. For Ombre, choose something a little less quirky, as Ombre is already a strange name. I'd recommend www.fantasynamegenerators.com

It's best to go to a store and look for weird names on products and mash them together. It works for me.

I just google some last names or just write whatever comes to me

I have a suggestion, if it's a last name from a different country ( example: Japan )
Then you should look for last names AND their meanings from that country
I have a character heavily associated with fire, so I made his last name something that relates to that.
also, going to graveyards and reading names off the tombstones works.

Japanese last names are really easy. You just go to Mom junction and search Uncommon Japanese names
