Layers of a planet?

How should I go about making the layers inside of my planet? There’s many aspects my world, such as dwarves who thrive under ground, metal, gem and plant root depths and under ground international trains, that would be beneficial to know my planets layers so I can expand on them.

My world is very magic based, the deeper you go the more magic there is, so I’ve always imagined the planets core to just be extreme pure magic? Not really sure how that would or could work. I’m also not sure what levels to have in between the core and the surface or how deep they should be since having a bunch of magic in the middle might make it different to earths layers. All I know is that my planet is twice the size of earth.

Sorry if any of the formatting or grammar is weird, I had to write this in a hurry. I’ll fix any mistakes later

You don’t need Earth-like geology. Just build layers that mix natural and magical. Maybe a crust for surface life, a mantle full of metals, gems, and roots where dwarves thrive, then deeper levels where magic grows denser and more dangerous, with the core being pure concentrated magic that shapes everything above it.
