Anything works for me, really. I have a ton of characters at hand, and could probably whip up one as well if needed.
I'm okay with anything that isn't a typical high school. Anyone up for the classic 'you have powers so you get to go to this special school' or possibly Divergent?

Maybe archeologists discover a bone they thought was of a common animal but it turns out the discovered a new species of ,idk dinosaurs?, and go back to the site to dig up more. They find a lot of things and a curious item that leads them on an adventure around the world in different sites
