I need a name for a mirror that allows its user to view the person that they name.
EXAMPLE
"Lumen Custos," Lux stated in front of the mirror. The surface shimmered like light shinning through a icicle before rippling as a wave. Lux now viewed the form of a one-handed, fiery-blond male who sat at a table eating his lunch.
You could use a word for mirror in a different language, such as Latin which is speculo/speculum. If you did that you could mash it up with one of the words for stranger like peregrinus. What type of name are you looking for?
Actually, it doesn't really need to be named. I, like others in our species, just like naming things.

There’s already been an item called the Obsidian Mirror in a very popular series (Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland) so I wouldn’t recommend naming it that.
How about the Faraway Window? The Distant Window?
