MY HEART! I miss them all. I take comfort in the fact that Marvel will probably bring some of them back, but it hit me right in the feels. I will admit though that every single death and disintegration was beautifully crafted, and they had to start with Bucky and end with Peter. We were as stunned as Steve when we saw him fall, and as heartbroken as Tony by the end. From a cinematic standpoint it was beautiful. As much as I dislike it, I don't think they could have done it any other way. To lose both Loki and Heimdall in the opening credits showed us that none of them were safe, that their mortality was fragile. From comic lore, Gamora wasn't just killed in one Universe, she was wiped from all of them. The Snap scene was taken straight from the pages.
Also, we don't get one of the reasons that Thanos goes after the Universe because of licensing agreements. Thanos is in love with Death, another character. She rejects him because she is in love with Deadpool. So, after being rejected he kills billions/trillions of people to try and ear her favor. I didn't think I could dislike him more, but I do.
The worst thing to me(by which I mean the best), is Marvel once again developed an intricate villain. One that we sympathysed with. We could understand his motives even if we didn't agree with them. Marvel did it again.
