I have this one earbud that shocks me in my ear every few minutes and it's a bit painful but I don't have enough money to buy another pair of good earbuds help

@Talon

Got a dollar store near you? Might not be able to get anything of good quality, but probably better than electrocution.

Is it just in one ear or both? If it's just one, just keep that one out of your ear until you can get a new pair.

It's just in one but I get really really picky about some things and I'd rather get electrocuted than have to listen to music with only one earbud lol (and the nearest store is like half an hour away, I'm in the middle of nowhere)

@basil_

HOLY SHIT CYBERMEN

@bonjourhumans

Are you in a dry area @Jensenbear? If you are, your earbuds will generate a ton more shock than if you are in a wet area.

@bonjourhumans

PS: It doesn't mean there's an issue with the earbuds.

Well, it's always dry in the winter, especially up here, but it's only one earbud that's generating a shock @Smallfry

Helpful tip: If you turn on mono audio in settings and slide the slider in the direction for whichever ear you are listening to the earbuds with, you can get the same quality sound in one ear as if you are listening to music with both your earbuds in. (For if you are listening to music with one earbud) You could do this if the reason you don't like to listen to music with only one earbud in is the quality of sound. Not sure if this will be helpful, but just throwing the idea out.
