They're very nature-oriented, and believe in sacrifice to reap rewards.

Honestly use Google translator. Think about words that describe them, and then translate that words into different languages until there's one that fits your aesthetic. You can combine parts of different translated words that all fit.
or use an alternative word for something really weird or dark. I've always wanted to write a book called onyx about a cult but just never got round to it.
