Pleasantville//CLOSED (6/6)

The town Pleasantville, Nevada is simply idealistic. The people are kind and cheerful, welcoming visitors with big smiles. The intoxicating smell of treats and food wafts from the adorable little storefronts all over town. Colorful houses with white picket fences line the streets. You've stumbled upon what seems to be the most perfect place on Earth. Maybe a little too perfect. The town is hiring a dark secret, and it's up to you to figure out what's going on, or succumb whatever may be hiding behind the smiling faces.

Name: August Bailey
Gender: Male

Appearance: 5’10”, hair color is light milky brown with swirls of dark brown, he likes to call the human version of hot chocolate. When he gets up in the morning, his hair is a small floof, but he controls it with the magic of pomade. Then his hairstyle is swept up for a spiked look. Picture Dean Winchester’s hair. He has a bit of a 5 o’clock shadow that turns into a scruff when he gets careless, usually only on weekends. His eyes have streaks of jade and peridot green radiating from his pupil, forest green along the edge of the iris and yellow-orange around the center, and he has crows feet (“eye wrinkles”). He has fairly light and sandy skin, and the bride of his nose is slightly crooked from falling off of his roof after trying to sleep on it when he was 9. He’s lightly muscled and has 12/10 bone structure, including sharp cheekbones. Broad shoulders, low Cupid’s Bow (indent in upper lip) and bow-legged.
Outfit: A tight stone grey hoodie with the strings always uneven. There’s always random bits of change and candy in his pockets. Over it, he wears a black denim jacket with piercing silver buttons. His phone stays in either one of the breast pockets during all of his classes. Very dark blue jeans that reach just above his wait, and a black belt with it. The look is complete with faux leather combat boots and a platinum ring, a family heirloom.
Personality: August is a super cheerful guy and loves helping people out. He tries fixing everything that he can, or doing something special for someone. No matter what his intentions are, his plans will go wrong, or he’ll be manipulated by someone he trusts. His close friends say it’s because he cares too much, that too much heart was always August’s problem. He makes up for it the best he can, though. Despite what many people’s impressions of him are, he’s actually an ambivert, although obviously on the more extroverted side. August practically lives off of Chinese takeout food and soda, he’s not really one for self care, especially mentally. When’s something goes wrong, the first person he blames is himself, and he has a lot of pent up emotions; he keeps a lot of personal details hidden from other people, even close friends. He constantly needs to move his hands, whether it be twiddling his thumbs, popping his knuckles, drawing on himself, tapping a pencil, etc. He loves talking with people especially when it’s something they’re passionate about. August always provides a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. His tough side is rarely shown, reserved for when someone has been hurt, mentally or physically. He’s thrown a few punches before, nothing too serious, and he’s not afraid to raise his voice.

Personality: A major chaotic neutral who cares largely for himself and those close to him. He's big on negotiation and has little fighting capability, except for a few taekwondo lessons when he was thirteen. Jensen talks a lot, nearly always in a casual, nonchalant tone, and he's a bit odd to those who don't know him. Hell, he's odd to those who do. Jensen is big on fashion and nonconformity, not to mention his pride of the local paper he's a 'reporter slash editor' for.
Background: In terms of college, he was in it for about a year before he got bored of having the same classes all the time. So he stopped showing up to them, instead dropping in on whatever class he found most interesting that day. By doing so, he learned a lot. He also made friends and took turns sleeping in their dorms, borrowing their different textbooks when they were asleep to learn more. Jensen is a huge manipulator, and he's incredibly clever when it comes to getting things he wants. Usually stories, since he's a pretty well-known journalist. Of course, that means he's made enemies over the years, but he has his friends to help him out of sticky situations. On the off chance he doesn't have anyone to help him out, he'll try his best to talk himself out of it, and if that doesn't work, he's screwed, seeing as he has next to no physical capability. Even though he constantly seems to forget this, and unintentionally starts fights with people way stronger than him.

Appearance: 5'6, 122 lbs, very curvy and a bit more on the softer side, discreet muscle on her arms. Sort of a preppy blonde look, wavy bleached bob just long enough to tie up but it's often down. She only ties it up when she's cooking or writing.
Big grey-green eyes with hazel reflections, long thick eyelashes
Quite tanned, spray of freckles, small button nose
Personality: ENFP-type, bubbly, very loveable and loving, cares about everyone much too quickly so is easily hurt, will not hesitate to put people's needs above her own.
Talks to anyone and everyone but knows when to quiet down, very open and incapable of hiding what she's thinking or feeling.
Sometimes the kind of 'overly sweet' person people hate, but there is a bad side to her (however hard to get to)
She can't hold a grudge but for the short time she'll be mad at you she'll be guilt-tripping you, taunting or else completely freezing you out even though she'll feel super guilty about it afterwards. Terrified of being blamed/disliked though which is why she'll be quick to forgive and apologise
