SO, I was reading a thing that said what if you and your soulmates had matching tattoos, and now I'm in love with that. But then I had another idea, what if it was a superhero and villian who had matching tattoos?!?! So, this is what the rp is about, say if you're interested!

Superpower: Invisibility, can light things on fire at will

Personality: Like her superpower, Phoenix is a super fiery person. She is a tomboy, outspoken, sarcastic, but all in all a great friend. She isn't liked by very many, however, and feels like she should try harder to get peoples approval.

Name: Samine Samudrala (Sam, known as Smokescreen in superhero form)
Superpower: … Hard to explain. So, they can sense the energies emitting from people's souls, and turn it into a more tangible form that looks like smoke to normal people. So emotions that came from the souls of happy people have the power to heal people when turned into "smoke," and vice versa for people with negative emotions. They bottle it up in small (preferably glass) containers, and throw it at the feet of the people they want to hurt, and use it like medicine for people they want to heal.
Good or Evil: A bit of a mix. Sam is a vigilante that saves people from great evils, but will not hesitate to take their money to buy some food for homeless people. So… a bit like a modern-day Robin Hood, but also saves people. (Example: They rescue a man from robbers who try to steal his money, but takes a quarter of it in return.)

Age: 20
Appearance: Chin-length black hair, amber/gold eyes, and dark brown skin. Short as fuck, with barely discernible curves. Looks very androgynous. Wears thick dark eyeliner around eyes, light brown jacket, black leggings, black combat boots. Usually wears a baseball cap. Amulet (golden Eye of Horus on a threadbare black cord given to them from their father), a neutral colored shirt, long white scarf when it's cold.
Appearance as a super (optional): Doesn't really needs to wear a superhero costume, just wears their smoke like a large cloak and uses the "colored" smoke to make a large superhero mask on their face. Personality: Personality can violently shift. Unpredictable, hard to read. Hates it when people call them Sam Sam. Will do anything that benefits them the most in the end. Makes a lot of comments that either seem like insults but are compliments or seem like compliments that are insults. Dry humor, and barely detectable sarcasm. Has a flair for the dramatic.
Backstory (optional): Had a famous archaeologist dad and a mother who worked as an equally famous historian, until they were killed by a up-and-coming supervillain whom no one took seriously until then. (anyone want to be that villain?) Sam then moved to a foster home. Their foster parents treated them decently, but were distant. Sam doesn't know that they actually just don't know how to talk to them without coming off as offensive. The parents love Sam all the same though. Anyway, Sam swore revenge on that villain and wanted to kill him/her/them, but another superhero (who wants to be that hero? they're also sam's soulmate. and sam's pansexual, by the way) beat them to the punch. Ever since then, that super and Sam have been mortal enemies.

Apperance: Darkly tanned skin with a golden tinge, brown eyes with just the barest hint of red, curly greyish hair with streaks of pure white, bangs that always fall in his face, tall and lean though he always slouches, a large scar across his left cheek making him look like he's always smiling, looks a little rough around the edges, usually wears a hoodie some jeans and converse.
Apperance as a Super (optonal): He's usually an animal or mythical creature, but when he's human he just wears a giant black cloak and a black face mask
Personality: Very quiet, hates attention, uncomfortable in his own skin, amazing at avoiding his issues, never opens up, keeps secrets, adaptable, coldhearted, doesn't believe in his own self worth, a bit hard to manage, gets obsessed by his new interests, addictive personality, very mellow, always tired, numb to violence and killing, greedy
Backstory (optional): He was raised in a slum by an alcaholic mother and a father who was never home. He turned to stealing food, eased into stealing money, and began robbing banks. Soon he was killing the people who got in his way, easing his way into full time super villainy.

Other: Bi Beauty, hates swimming, allergic to bees, really likes acting and reading scripts but will never try out for any plays.
