for example, my empath's main ability is, well, empathy, meaning he can feel what others are feeling emotionally and physically. his subpowers are emotional projection and sensory link.
i also have my character who negates everyone's powers within a certain radius of him. his sub powers are power scrambling, limited immunity and detection.
i'm curious to see what other people have, so if you feel like it, let me know below?
I got a teleporter who can also make portals. But he's ADHD so he can't really focus on where he's going so sometimes he teleports at random.
I have a dude who can mind-control people by looking them in the eyes for like, one second. his sub power is that he can subtly poke someone's mind when talking to sway their opinion in a for him favourable direction.
I also have a lady whose superpower is breathing insanely hot flames dragon style. I guess her sub power, though I don't really touch on it, is that her breath and body temperature is simply a few degrees higher than that of others and that she is somewhat heat resistant.
One of my characters has the powers to create illusions, so often they can create little scenarios when theyre daydreaming, especially when listening to music, which gets them in trouble all the time. They also tend to be a really good story teller.
Another one is kind of a storm spirit in a way, able to control lighting etc. Sometimes when theyre overexcited or startled they can cause minor power-outs or even make fuses blow.
The final one I can think of is sort of an embodiment of fakes and forgeries, so on the side theyre really good at telling when people are lying or being dishonest.

I have a character, her name is Ellianna, and her main power is Accelerated Movement (superspeed) and one of sub-powers is static generation. It mostly stays inside her body, so she made gloves that can channel it and shoot it out as concussive blasts.
I have a character named Tanaya who can phase. I have another character named Giselle who can sort of control light. She can usually use the light like a flashlight but she can also concentrate in so it turns into a lazer and stuff like that.
