YES. I can think up a character's name, backstory, likes and dislikes, their purpose in the story, h̶o̶w̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶'̶r̶e̶ ̶g̶o̶n̶n̶a̶ ̶d̶i̶e̶ who they're gonna get with etc etc etc. But I can't write any of it down because the moment I do it SOUNDS SO STUPID!

So, I do digital art. A couple years ago, our computer's hard drive just got a virus or died or something. I did not save my work on a flash drive. I lost a year's worth of digital art. I cried for like a month

im writing a romance story( like i got all the plot ideas) and i just remembered i don't know how to write social interactions.

When you were drawing something (also digitally) and then your computer screen freezes so you have to restart your computer. But you haven't saved your drawing in a while. So you lost a crap ton of work and no longer have to motivation to finish it bc you liked what you had before

……yes bc apparently I don't save my work often enough. At least I use a flash drive now, so I can't lose everything again

And you know, I don't have motivation in the first place, so it was rlly hard just to create something I didn't despise

thats unfortunate but im glad you can create stuff you don't hate. thats why i don't draw. that happens too much to me.

Lemme think of more things I hate… OH YEAH when I'm drawing (traditionally) and people stare over my shoulder and ask any of these questions: "Where's its face?" I'M NOT FINISHED YOU LITTLE- "Woaaaah did you draw that?! :OO" No it just appeared in my sketchbook that I'm drawing in right now "Can you draw me??" I can. But I won't. "What is it?" This one just irritates me. "Why's it bleeding/crying/etc?" Nunya.

i get what you mean. thats why i draw in private. no one looking over your shoulder unless you have a ghost problem.

Snake I understand the art STRUGGLE traditional and digital but like when your rough sketch looks pretty good and then you ink it AND IT LOOKS 20x WORSE or you hesitate to add something and you do but then you wish you didnt…also just not having ctrl+z in real life
