The begining
Vanessa walked through the doors of her new high school she had moved here with her mother although she didn't want to she preferred her life in smallville
Brink watched people walk by from a hall corner, glaring at those who have him a second glance. He didn't understand why his father and mother insisted on him going to a school, all-villain children of Gotham attended but still, it wasn't like he was going to stay long, he'd skip first period soon
Vanessa went over to her locker and opened it throwing some stuff in she started to class starting to pass brink
Brink shoved himself off the wall and headed in the opposite direction of his class, bumping into another student. He glanced her way and winked before jogging off into a dark hallway
She glanced at him before heading to class
Brink tilted his head playfully and rolled his eyes as he headed down the hall. "Live, live, live live die, nothing lasts forever dear," he sang
Vanessa though about skipping but knew her mother wouod be furious and went to class
He gave one last sharp laugh and headed out of the school, knowing is dad would be mad but understanding, his kid needed freedom!
Once first period was over she decided she hsted school and ditched she wejt outside ajd walked through the woods
His sister Jacklynne picked him up in an ally way and sighed "what in hells name are you doing outta School?" She asked with the family signature smile
"I can ask you the same, what in hells name are you doing outta work?" He asked with the same grin
Vaness turned into cat and strutted along
"shut it," she teased, driving off at lightning speed like a maniac, "so ya make friends?" She asked glancing over at her brother
"Ha no, I didn't even stay for first period. Though I did bump into a girl on my way out, seemed nice enough,"
She made rest in a tree not by them but near them
"aw! My little brother gotta crush!"
"Jack's shut up and pay attention," brink yelled, crossing his arms and glaring out the window
Vanessanclosed her eye's and started to doze off
"alright I'm kidding, jeez." Jack's pulled over and got out "ready?" Brink nodded happily
Vanessa didn't want to sleep and droed to th as human.
"lesson one," Jack's grunted as she knocked someone out " make sure they're out like a light. You fight to win, not for mercy."

Brink nodded and glanced around, be fire turning and punching someone in guy who had come up behind them
" she walked down the road wandering farther and farther
"great! Now let's head outside!" Jack's bounced off to the exit while brink followed
Vanessa got a text from her mom saying she needed to get home.now.
"alright, lesson two, never assume anyone is an ally. Ever." Jack's said as she casually walked down the road, a bat swinging in her hand.
Brink grinned and pointed his knife at her, "not even my big sis?"
"Except family ya dork!"
She turned into a.panther cashed away
Brink laughed and headed down an allyway "now what?"
She ran until she sawma pink haired girl and a green haired boy
"wait until mayhem comes to us," Jack's said with a smile "5 minutes tops." She reasured
