Muse A is a lab experiment. Has been for as long as he can remember. He is being used to test a prototype product to improve the human body by enhancing it's strength, speed and stamina. However, he is extremely miserable in the lab and the scientists are extremely cruel to him. All except for one.

Muse B is a scientist at the science facility testing on Muse A. He takes pity on the experiment and decides to be kind to him, and eventually falls in love. He decides he needs to find a way to get Muse A out, but until then he needs to protect him the best he can.

Warning: This roleplay will mention mature-ish themes such as abuse and violence, and possibly gore.

Appearance: He's a little on the short side for his age, with dark brown, poofy hair and chocolate brown eyes. He is usually dresses in the hospital gown-like clothes that he has to wear.
Personality: He's a quiet, nervous person who doesn't speak much due to fear of getting hurt by the scientists. However, once you get to know him he is sweet and sarcastic, and very loyal. He has major trust issues, though.

Appearance: Kieran has mid-length black hair that he keeps tied up in a ponytail, his bangs and fringe frame his face. His complexion is fairly neutral with golden undertones and he has dark brown almond shaped eyes. He stands at roughly 6 feet. He is always seen wearing a pair of neatly ironed, black trousers, polished Oxford shoes, and a black turtle neck with the sleeved rolled up. Often he wears his white lab coat, and when reading he wears round wire-frame glasses.
Personality: He's a serious man, always knuckles down with work. His work colleagues often describe him as apathetic, since he tends to have a neutral expression no matter the situation, and he doesn't really get involved with anything that isn't work.
Other: He has a surprising weakness for cats.

A lilac dawn broke through the gaps in Kieran's blinds. His eyes slowly squinted open, and that was when he realised he'd fallen asleep at his desk. The familiar smell of antiseptic wipes was a massive give away. Clearing his throat, he sat up, slowly gathering together the crumpled notes he's been laid upon, and rubbed his eyes underneath his glasses. After a moment of sitting in silence, he sighed and got up to make himself a cup of coffee.

What time was it?

8AM?! He was late for the morning tests! 'No time for coffee.' he thought, placing his mug down on his desk.
He gathered up the papers he needed, pulled on his lab coat, and swung out of his office in so much of a hurry that he almost went straight into the door frame. What a great start to the day.

He took the elevator down to the holding cells and ran down to where they were keeping Test Subject #379, Dexter. Even though he was out of breath from running, his expression never faltered as he handed the documents to the other scientist present.
"You're late, someone has been up working into the early hours again." Dr Lionel sighed, skimming over the papers he had been given.
"Uh huh." Kieran nodded, making his way over to Dexter, who was seemingly still sedated.
